During the eighth week of teaching practice, I handled two classes at the secondary level. I taught Unsaturated Hydrocarbons for Class 9D, where the focus was on understanding the types, properties, and basic reactions of unsaturated hydrocarbons. For Class 8B, I taught Characteristics of Magnetic Field Lines, explaining their nature, direction, and significance using suitable illustrations and classroom discussion.
In addition to classroom teaching, I actively participated in co-curricular activities. I assisted in the noon meal serving programme, contributing to the smooth conduct of the school’s welfare activity. I also took part in the Annual Day preparations, helping with organizational and supportive tasks. Also participated in the appreciation ceremony of winner in state level youth festival
Overall, the week was productive and helped me gain better teaching experience as well as involvement in school activities beyond academics.
